New Blog Post Ideas?

Hey guys! Sorry I have been kind of MIA for a few weeks. Really busy last few weeks. I’m going to try to get at least two reviews up this weekend. If you want to know when I post one, follow me on twitter. It is really easy. Link is always at the end of the post.

So, since you guys read my blog, I wanted to get your opinions on what I should review! Leave a comment or tweet me on twitter sending requests. I will try to fulfill as many as I can.

Would You Rather? Beauty Edition 2011

QUESTIONS:

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

-Well, considering I have no palettes, I

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

-Chop my hair off. Hair grows back.

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

-I have all pink blushes but I really wanna try a coral cheek. I’m choosing pink though.

If you had $1000 to spend, Would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

-Makeup.

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

-Lipstick as eyeliner. I only have a few different colored eyeliners but they would look weird on my lips.

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

-Hm…. Sephora. But is a tough choice. MAC can be too expensive at times.

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?

-Lip color. I love me some eye shadows.

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

-Summer clothes in winter. I would much rather be cold than hot. I hate heat and I get really bad migraines in the heat too.

Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?

-Bright 🙂

Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

Lip product.

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?

_-My hair is in a messy bun 90% of the summer anyway. But Messy bun. Make it cute 😉

Would your rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

-Never use lip gloss.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? or sharpie them in everyday?

-No eyebrows. Black eyebrows? On me? Ew.

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

-Nail Polish.

June Favorites

Makeup:

1. Cover Girl Last Blast Volume Waterproof Hydrofuge in ‘Black’. I did a review on this if you would like any specifics.

2. Essence ‘Stay With Me’ Longlasting Lipgloss in ‘Me&My Ice Cream’. I did a review on this product as well. If you would like to read more, check out my blog post on it.

3. MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15 in ‘Fuchsia Fix’. It smells and tastes like cookies. This retails for $14.50 at a MAC store or counter. it is very smooth and not sticky. Pretty deep pink sheen. PLUS, it has SPF 15 in it. Perfect for summer.

4. MAC Eyeshadow in ‘Shimmermoss’. I used this as an eyeliner. I would use it wet because dry, it is not too pigmented as a liner. As an eyeshadow it is pigmented though. $14.50 at a MAC counter or store.

5. MAC Paint Pot in “Rubenesque”. I did a review on this. Check out my blog post!

Body:

6. Bath and Body Works  Fragrance Mist in ‘Country Chic’. Very fresh and clean but still has that girly scent to it. Travel size is $5 at your local BBW store. Also available in a larger fragrance mist size along with lotions, shower gels, ect.

Ect.:

7. BBW Scent Oils for Scent Bug in “Island Nectar”, ” Calypso Sun”, and “Pineapple Mango”. Very summery scents. Each scent costs $7.50 and the refill pads cost $3.50

8. Extra Dessert Delights Gum in ‘Mint Chocolate Chip”. Yum.

Bath and Body Works Lotions: Peach Citrus and Pomegranate Citrus

I only have two of the three lotions in the citrus collection. I do not have Apple Blossom Citrus. So obviously I cannot review that one for you. I have not even gotten a chance to smell it. On with the review.

Peach Citrus:

I love peaches and this is my favorite of the two. I keep it right next to my laptop and I constantly put it on. It smells soooo good! I have the 2 Fluid Ounce version of the lotion which is the sample, one dollar size. I’m probably not going to buy the full version of it though because it takes me forever to get through a small one. The scent of this is described as (online) ” an irresistible burst of zesty citrus and luscious peach”. That is what it is. It is very summery and just fresh.

Pros: Yummy smell, cute packaging!

Cons: Can be a little on the strong side, kind of greasy for a while.

Pomegranate Citrus:

I did not pick this one up the same day as the peach one. It is still a 2 Fluid Ounce sample size of the now full version. To be honest with you, this is not my favorite scent. I love pomegranates and i love citrus but I just don’t like this particular scent. It sits next to my laptop with the peach citrus also. I try to use it and get used to it. I just bought it yesterday so it may take a little getting used to. It is decribed as (online) ” an exotic burst of zesty citrus and fresh pomegranate”. All in all, I would not buy the full version for two reasons. One, I am not fond of the scent. Two, it takes me a long time to use up lotion.

Pros: Great for citrus/pomegranate lovers, cute packaging.

Cons: Strong, has a ‘lotiony’ undertone smell, greasy.
